Waver watched her out of the corner of his eye while he nibbled on the food, keeping Devyn in sight even as he tried to get comfortable with her presence. He'd asked her to stay. But both being alone and having her in the room made him anxious, and he couldn't seem to shake it, even as he reminded himself he'd been the one to decide this.
